For my political projects in the past I have looked at both the issues of privacy in which I analysed Barbara Kruger and Adbusters, as well as the tensions which could lead to a war in the future. Utilising Photoshop I created three images of the prominent world leaders in front of nuclear mushroom clouds and wearing gas masks in a style inspired by Shepard Fairey and then I painted the images on canvases utilising modelling paste combined with acrylic paint on the masks to add texture and depth to the images.
